EXHIBITING ARTIST GUIDELINES & ACCEPTED MEDIUMS
Participation is open to all fine art. All work represented must be of an original concept executed and designed by the artist in attendance. The Glen Ellyn Festival of the Arts reserves the right to remove any and all works deemed not suitable at the time of the festival. It also reserves the right to select or invite other applicants in order to ensure a balance of medium. The Festival of the Arts reserves the right to refuse any application at their discretion and refund the artist booth fee. Any Artist not conforming to the Show Rules will be removed; no fees will be refunded after July 17th.
The following mediums are to be included in each show: ceramics, drawing, fiber non-functional, fiber wearable, paper non-functional, furniture, glass, jewelry, acrylic, oil, watercolor, pastel, sculpture, wood, mixed media, collage, photography, and printmaking. Prints in limited editions are allowed; no more than 300 in a series, provided at least 33% of an Artist’s exhibited work is original.
Individual consideration of any media not listed will be given upon request. No work which has been made with commercial kits, molds, patterns, plans, prefabricated pieces, or assembly line technique will be allowed.
Artists are responsible for their own tents, display tables and related materials.

All media is welcome.

|Art on the Fox Fine Art Show||
2D – Original two-dimensional work including graphite, charcoal, chalk, pastels, wax crayon, inks, and washes. All work must be framed and finished. 2D Artists must have panels in your booth.
3D Functional – Dimensional work that has a function – such as wearable fiber or wood furniture.
Drawing – Charcoal, graphite, and color pencils applied to a surface.
Glass – Original work created in glass by the artist including blown glass, fused glass or stained glass.
Jewelry – All jewelry, whether the work is produced from metal, glass, clay, fiber, paper, plastic or other materials, must be entered in this category.
Metal – Original work created by the artist without use of a production studio.
Painting – Original, two-dimensional work created with pigment, including oils, acrylics, watercolor, egg tempura, etc.
Photography – Signed prints created by the artist from his/her own original negative or digital files that have been processed by that artist or under the artist’s direct supervision.
Sculpture – Art that serves an aesthetic not functional purpose.

|Northern Illinois 44th Annual Arts & Crafts Show||
We accept all forms of original fine arts and selected crafts of high quality.
|Town & Country Youth Show||
All media is eligible but the Ottawa Art League reserves the right to eliminate a piece from the show if the content is deemed inappropriate.
|Prairie Arts Festival||
Ceramics, drawing, fiber arts, glass, graphics, jewelry, mixed media, painting (including watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel), photography, pottery, and sculpture all crafted by the artist.
