Strange Folk Festival

Date:
Sep 25 2010 - Sep 26 2010
Times:
10a.m. - 6 p.m.
Address:
O'Fallon Community Park
United States

A festival of social significance. A craft happening in psychedelic color.

Strange Folk is the Heartland's largest outdoor indie arts and
crafts show. Over 10,000 folks attended our 2008 event, which featured
120 modern makers from across the country, along with plenty of
eco-freindly craft activities, exhibits, live bands, and local cuisine
under a canopy of beautiful trees!

Our vendors offer merchandise with aesthetics ranging from retro,
pretty, punk, urban, and everything in between. All in price ranges
that make it possible for anyone to afford a one-of-a-kind handmade
creation. Besides our talented artisans, we strive for a variety of
food and drink options, including coffee and vegetarian fare.

There are oodles of crafty activities for children and adults. As well
as live music (not folk singers so much, indie rock and pop is more our bag!), and free Wi-Fi access available throughout the park.
O'Fallon is just 15 minutes from downtown St. Louis, and easily
accessible from both sides of the Mississippi.
