The Friends of the Plainfield Public Library Art/Craft Fair is a non juried, outdoor art and craft fair highlighting Northern Illinois artists and fine crafters. This is the third such event organized by the Friends. Site fees go toward funding library progamming needs. To apply for a site or to ask questions, call Barbara Ebeling, President of the Friends of the Plainfield Public Library, at 815.439.8184. The Friends of the Plainfield Public Library is a not for profit organization organized for the purpose of providing voluntary and financial support to the Plainfield Public Library.

This is a one day, outdoor event. As a result artists should be prepared to provide their own tables, canopies, tarps, etc. Detailed guidelines can be sent on request. The fair is open to all art mediums. A 10X10 site is available for $20. To be listed in the fair's programming, registration fees must be received by September 1, 2011. Late registrations can be taken; however, it is advisable to call to check on site availability. Late registrations will not be listed in the fair's programming materials.
