Art in the Park is a wonderful weekend to find unique, artist created handcrafted jewelry, ceramics, photography, sculpture, furniture, glass, fiber works, as well as paintings and drawings. . All art work is original one of a kind. Enjoy live entertainment on stage and an assortment of food for sale by select vendors. Family activities provided by Elmhurst Art Museum are available from 10:00am-3pm each day including Raku in the Park(ing Lot) with ceramic artist Ken Nance. Cost to participate is $15. Bring the family for a for a fun-filled day where participants can select a pot to glaze, watch as it is fired, and be ready to take home that day. Watch demonstrations on the potter's wheel and shop for finished ceramics created by local artists. The museum will be open free to the public from 10am-5pm all weekend long in conjunction with the festival. Be sure to enjoy Portfolio and Collection Highlights celebrating the most talented high scool senior artists in DuPage with a display of their outstanding portfolios and Collection Highlights from the Museum's collection.
