Any way you slice it; visitors can expect to have bushels of fun at the 17th Annual Long Grove Apple Fest, on October 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Celebrate fall’s favorite fruit and the many delicious ways to enjoy it – from Long Grove’s famous brown bag apple pies and apple cider donuts to hot apple cider, caramel apple lattes, apple martinis, and more!
Village restaurants and outdoor food booths will carry a wide range of apple-inspired treats, including the very popular “make your own taffy apple" booths. Visitors will enjoy outdoor ambiance and the many activities staged throughout the historic village.
The lineup of great entertainment on the stage in Fountain Square and at the Covered Bridge will include folk, bluegrass, country, rock, and jazz throughout the three-day weekend and will “a-peel” to festivalgoers of all ages. The Apple Jam Kids' Expo will include activities and informational booths for children and their parents. Pony rides, kiddy rides, and a kids’ craft tent will provide fun for all ages.
Visitors to Long Grove will also enjoy more than 80 trendy shops, boutiques, galleries, and restaurants in a beautiful old-world setting of historic buildings, cobblestone walks, colorful gardens, and the landmark covered bridge. Long Grove is located in the northern suburbs, near Routes 53 and 83, north of Lake Cook Road.
This scrumptious event takes place Friday and Saturday October 2nd and 3rd at 10 am to 6 pm, and Sunday October 4th from 10 am to 6 pm.
