"The Next Wave" Artists Salon

Slated for September 10-11, “The Next Wave” Artists Salon is a two-day event that brings together artists of all different backgrounds and mediums in a “found space” in downtown Elgin.

Artists will have up to a 10’ x 10’ space to exhibit work that is based on the theme of “working.” Performance artists will have a larger space to perform pieces of the same theme. The Salon is geared to attract up-and-coming Artists with innovative approaches to their art form; however it is open to Artists of all ages and genres.

Up to $3,000 in awards will be given. The first night will be an exclusive VIP night for executives from local companies and organizations to mix and mingle with the Artists. The second night will be open to the public.
