The Mendota Sweet Corn Festival, which is a 3.5 day event, August 9-12 is one of the Midwest's largest harvest festivals. Includes Craft Show & Flea Market, Parade, Free Entertainment, Festival & Ethnic Food Booths, Beer Garden with live bands, Queen Pageant, Carnival & serving of FREE, hot buttered Del Monte Sweet Corn on Sunday afternoon. No admission or parking fees, ($5 admission to beer garden only) Family Event.
Handmade Arts & Crafts, Flea Mkt. considered selling items that you do not hand make, direct sales vendors.
2 day spaces for Sat. & Sun. - $70.00 for the weekend
1 day spaces for Sat. only - $35.00
Spaces are located in several areas in the center of downtown Mendota, IL.
Areas are very close together. They are Veterans' Park, Rt. 34; Indiana Ave. (Sat. only spaces); Jefferson Street and adjacent Elks Club Parking Lot.
You must bring your own awning and tables. We will take applications until we are full.
We do have spaces for food vendors, commercial vendors and merchandise vendors on our midways. A 10' frontage on the midway is $200 for the 3.5 days. Electricity is available (cost) and so is water (no cost).
